On Farm Events

We have four intensive cheesemaking workshops on our spring calendar, Saturday March 23, 2019,  Saturday April 13, 2019, Saturday May 4, 2019. These intensive hands on cheesemaking workshops are for the cheese obsessed, avid foodies, and those fascinated with the science and magic of cheese. Join us in the creamery and learn the basics of making fresh cheeses. Get hands on experience in a small group session that allows for your questions to be answered. Includes a cheese tasting, farm tour, and a visit with our baby goats as well as recipes, resource lists, and cheese to take home.

April 27, 2019 we are offering our first family cheesemaking workshop. Bring your curious and science excited young person age 7 – 14 to our farm for a two and a half hour workshop in our creamery.  This class will introduce some cheese history, milk facts, and we will see a condensed version of making our basic chevre and we will shape and flavor chevre to take home. In addition, we will make ricotta and experience the quick separation of curds and whey. This workshop includes a cheese tasting, farm tour and a visit with our baby goats.
